Kate Middleton past REVEALED

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge is the eldest daughter of Michael and Carole Middleton, and sister to siblings Pippa and James. Before meeting Prince William at the University of St Andrews, Kate attended prestigious boarding school Marlborough College in Wiltshire. Kate’s upper-middle-class background saw her also benefit from trust funds handed down by her wealthy ancestors. But Kate’s parents run their own business and have held down regular jobs in the aviation industry. Michael Middleton, 69, worked for British Airways while Carole, 54, used to be a flight attendant and flight dispatcher. What do Kate’s parents do for a living – and what is their net worth? Michael and Carole have run online mail order company Party Pieces for the last 30 years. The internet store sells partyware items “from decorations to tableware” for celebrations such as birthdays and weddings.

Carole states: “From our humble beginning seeing kids party supplies from our garden shed all the way back in the late 80s, to today where we send out thousands of orders each week, we’ve aimed to provide you with the party suppliers you need to make your celebrations into something truly special.” The party supplies business has previously been worth about £30 million. In a rare interview last year, Carole revealed how all three of the Middleton children had played a party in the success of Party Pieces over the years. She said: “Catherine started the first Birthday brand, Pippa set up a blog, as we didn’t have one, James came up with the idea of personalised cakes and got them off the ground for us. “Because they all grew up with me working, Party Pieces has been very much part of our lives and what we talked about.”
