The A-list couple previously turned heads at the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in May and now, their link to Princess Eugenie’s husband-to-be has been revealed. George, 57, is connected to Jack, 32, through business, as the hospitality mogul was previously announced as the UK Ambassador for his Casamigos Tequila brand in 2016. At the time, Jack said he was “thrilled” to be joining the team after moving over from his previous role at Tonteria, a Mexican-themed club in Chelsea, London. Amal, 40, and her Hollywood actor husband could be in for another trip to Windsor in October if they get an invite to the upcoming nuptials. Princess Eugenie, 28, and Jack, who announced their engagement earlier this year, first met whilst skiing in Switzerland.
Her father Prince Andrew congratulated the couple, saying: “Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each other over a number of years, and I’m really thrilled for them. “I’m just completely overjoyed for them and wish them every happiness.” George and Amal put on a stunningly elegant display at Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding, looking the picture perfect couple in their stylish outfits. The human rights lawyer showcased her famous fashion sense in a bold yellow frock which featured a statement tie in the back and cap sleeves. The chic number highlighted her slender frame and she paired it with a matching yellow hat with a delicate veil. Meanwhile, George looked dashing in a light grey suit, pale blue shirt and a yellow and white striped tie. The pair arrived arm-in-arm as they made their way past photographers and crowds into St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle to watch the Duchess of Sussex tie the knot with Prince Harry.
George recently miraculously escaped without any broken bones after being involved in a collision with a car whilst riding his moped in Italy. The Ocean’s Eleven star could be seen crashing into the front of the vehicle in footage of the crash, flying off the front of his scooter and onto the road. His helmet smashed the windscreen upon impact and he was subsequently taken to hospital before later being discharged.
The driver of the other vehicle told Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra afterwards that he was still in shock following the incident. “I couldn’t see anything,” Antonella Viglino said. “I was just started to turn, I’d only gone a little way over the white line. “I’m still in shock. It all happened in an instant.” He said he had recognised the actor as soon as he removed his helmet, adding: “I could never gave imagined that I would have hit George Clooney.”
As the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, both 58, this royal wedding will come with plenty of pomp a circumstance. Debrett’s is the high society company that claims to be an authority on etiquette.
What can Eugenie learn about her wedding from the upper-class title? According to Debrett’s the bride’s family should pay for the wedding dress and everything else she wears on her big day. They should also fork out for bridesmaid dresses and pageboy outfits. They should pay for the church flowers, the reception and venue hire and decoration. The cake, catering, drinks, entertainment and favours also fall to the brides family.
However, the groom does have some costs to cover including his outfit for the day, as well as those of the best man and the ushers. He will also pay for the church for the wedding and the ceremony fees. Of course, there is also the engagement ring and the cost of the wedding rings to be accounted for. The wedding night hotel will also fall to the groom. Apparently, Princess Eugenie will be “breaking Royal traditions” with a wedding dress “very different” to Meghan. Anna Mewes, a personal stylist and image consultant, said: “Princess Eugenie is known for breaking Royal traditions when it comes to dressing and I imagine she will do the same when it comes to her wedding dress. “I expect her dress will be very different to the styles Kate and Meghan chose for their own weddings.”
Beatrice will be turning to a dress to flatter her figure, the stylist suggests. Anna believes Eugenie will opt for a cinched-in waist and full skirt.
The young royal turns 30 today. August 08, 2018. The royal sisters are incredibly close, as Eugenie’s emotional message to Beatrice shows Princess Eugenie paid a heartfelt tribute to her sister Princess Beatrice on the evening of her 30th birthday. Taking to Instagram to send a public message of love and birthday wishes to her sister, Eugenie shared four gorgeous photographs of Beatrice in the sweet social media message. “Happy 30th birthday to you Beatrice…” the sweet sibling wrote. “What an amazing sister you are and we are so proud of the person you have become!”
The photographs shared thrilled royal fans as they took to Instagram to leave their own messages for the Princess as she enters her fourth decade. Eugenie shared this baby picture of Beatrice
The first photograph was a very sweet one of a baby Beatrice smiling at the camera while sitting in her mother, Sarah, Duchess of York’s lap. The second one was a pretty picture taken more recently, where the royal sported long flowing locks and showed off her stunning eyes while out for the evening with her sister. The third photograph is one from the pair’s recent Vogue photoshoot, and shows Beatrice and Eugenie giggling wildly whilst lying on the floor, Beatrice covering her face with her hands. The mother and daughter trio look radiantly happy The fourth picture is of Beatrice, Eugenie and their mum Sarah smiling broadly together, while all dressed up for a night out – perhaps to celebrate Beatrice’s birthday. “Oh she’s such a beauty! Both of you! HBD Beatrice!” wrote one excited Instagram commenter. “You blink and suddenly they’re women,” added another. They created a beautiful collage to mark the young royal’s milestone, featuring some never-before-seen photos of the Queen’s granddaughter. The accompanying caption read: “Wishing Princess Beatrice a very Happy 30th Birthday! To mark the occasion we’ve put together #30at30 photos of HRH #HappyBirthdayHRH.”
The 28-year-old royal explained that she and Brooksbank are completely anti-plastic at home and that she is keen for her impending nuptials to reflect her views on sustainability. Eugenie recently became an ambassador for Project 0, a charitable initiative committed to protecting the ocean from pollution via single-use plastic. Rihanna appears on British Vogue with super slim eyebrows “It’s been eye-opening,” the young royal tells the magazine in reference to joining the anti-plastic movement and its environmental impact. “My whole house is anti-plastic now,” she continues, “and Jack and I want our wedding to be like that as well.”
The ceremony will take place on 12 October at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same venue where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex married in May. As for pre-wedding jitters, the young royal explained she has felt fairly relaxed about it all thus far, but added that some anxieties are inevitable. “I’m not stressed at all,” she said. “It’s very nerve-wracking because you want it to be perfect but then you realise that you’re going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters.” The couple met after they were introduced by mutual friends at a ski resort in Verbier in 2011. Brooksbank proposed in January while the duo were on holiday in Nicaragua.

Meanwhile, Beatrice addressed the difficulties of being a Princess in the public eye, describing it as a situation that is “hard to navigate” due to there being no official protocol. “We are the first,” she said of her and her sister, “we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we’re also princesses and doing all of this in the public eye.”
