Roxanne Pallet breaks her silence about shock CBB exit

Roxanne Pallett has broken her silence after her shock exit from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Saturday morning. The former Emmerdale actress walked out after accusing Ryan Thomas of ‘assaulting’ her during what appeared to be a play fight. And she’s now opened up about her reasons for quitting the show which she was rumoured to have secured a £750,000 fee for. “Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about,” her rep said. Roxanne has opened up about her decision to leave. Ryan sobbed that the claims had left his life ‘in tatters’. Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas’s CBB beef “She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.” The Channel 5 show confirmed her departure earlier today, stating: “Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.”

The actress is believed to have checked into the plush The Manor Elstree Laura Ashely hotel in Borehamwood – near the CBB studios – for a bit of R&R. And her sudden exit follows her claims that ex-Coronation Street star Ryan hit her in the ribs ‘deliberately’ and ‘repeatedly’.

The pair held peace talks on Friday. Ryan explained the play punch was an ‘affectionate’ gesture. The incident was caught on camera and showed both laughing as Ryan appeared to playfully punch Roxanne as she carried a pile of dirty washing. But she later sobbed in the Diary Room claiming he she had been “punched repeatedly, unprovoked and completely deliberately” by Ryan and called for him to be removed from the Channel 5 show. Roxanne was rumoured to have landed a £750,000 pay packet for the show. She has now been reunited with her fiancé Lee Walton.  “I went from being upset to being angry, because a boy has punched me repeatedly, unprovoked,” said Roxanne. “And we weren’t play fighting, there was no banter, it wasn’t a joke,” she claimed in the diary room.

Ryan was issued with a formal warning after CBB bosses reviewed the footage, and the incident sparked a national outcry, with viewers calling for Roxanne to be booted from the show. And Ryan broke down in tears on last night’s live feed, sobbing that his life had been ‘left in tatters’ by the allegations.
