Love Island star Gabby Allen has entered the Celebrity Big Brother house. The personal trainer turned reality TV star was hotly tipped to be entering the famous house and during Thursday night’s launch show, she was revealed to be one of this summer’s housemates. Gabby found fame after signing up to the third series of Love Island, which aired in 2017. In fact, Gabby made it all the way to the final with former Blazin’ Squad star Marcel Somerville, with the pair finishing in the fourth position.
In early 2018, however, it was revealed that he had cheated on her, and the pair split. Gabby later become embroiled in claims that she was dating Dan Osborne, who has recently split from his wife and mother of his two children Jacqueline Jossa and has also entered the CBB house. She has since admitted she had to ‘explain’ what went on between herself and Dan to Jacqueline after pictures emerged of them looking cosy while they relaxed on a yacht after going on The Holistic Bootcamp in Marbella while EastEnders star Jossa was pregnant with her and Dan’s second child. The pair were also joined by the likes of Calum Best and Stephanie Davis for the trip. ‘I never thought I’d have to explain anything before because I haven’t done anything wrong so why would you have to explain anything?’ she said.
‘But then we have spoken and it was fine and you know what it’s a shame because we all got on so well. It would have been nice to stay friends afterwards.’ The reality star was also accused of sleeping with Dan by her cheating ex Marcel Somerville. But Gabby strenuously denied it, as she said: ‘I’m NEVER going to sleep with a married man. Ever. I’ve seen it happen to my friends, to family, I’ve been cheated on so badly before. It is not worth it.’ Gabby was first rumoured for CBB in July.
‘I’m up for it. But I don’t know yet. Any sort of reality for me is a challenge, [but] It would be nice to showcase myself as an individual,’ she said at the time. Other faces joining Gabby in the house include TV and radio presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli, former footballer Jermaine Pennant, TOWIE star Dan Osborne, TV psychic Sally Morgan, American actress Kirstie Alley, Married At First Sight star Ben Jardine, US reality star and WAG Natalie Nunn, soap star Roxanne Pallett, British model Chloe Ayling, former Barings Bank broker Nick Leeson, human Ken doll Rodrigo Alves and soap star Ryan Thomas. Celebrity Big Brother airs every night on Channel 5 at 9pm.
