Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield reunite in 'friendship goals' holiday snaps

Holidaying like a pair of besties Holly Willoughby treated any withdrawal symptoms This Morning fans may be having as she shared cute holiday snaps with her co-host Phillip Schofield. And the good people of the internet are calling it ‘friendship goals.’ Holly buttered up her fans with pictures of Schofe doing his best fishy impression as the pair holidayed together during their long summer break from the brunch-time ITV show. The presenter and her family joined Phil, 56 and his crew in Portugal for a vacay. Taking to Instagram this morning Holly showed off her marine photography skills and posted a picture of Phil swimming under the water while pulling a funny face. Another snap showed the pair reunited in the pool as they enjoyed a late night swim – it’s not the This Morning sofa but it’s sure good to see them back together.

One cheeky fan commented under the pictures: ‘Fishy wishy!!!!!!’ ‘I miss you guys wen your not on this morning,’ added another. While a third added: ‘Wish I was on holiday with you both #friendgoals.’ Phil had been spending the last few days enjoying the European sun with his daughter Ruby when Holly, her three children and husband Dan joined them on their trip abroad making it one big family holiday. In fact, Phil’s holiday looked so luxurious we would have joined him as well! Holly and Phil have six weeks this summer away from their hit show so they can spend time with their families during the school holidays. Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford – who usually do present the show on Fridays – have been standing in for the pair. Fans celebrated when the two briefly returned to This Morning yesterday for a pre-recorded appearance with pop giants and 1990s goddesses, All Saints. The four-piece are back with a brand new album, Testament – which, FYI, is absolutely perfect – and gave a rare TV interview with Holly and Phil for today’s instalment of the ITV daytime favourite, which was presented by Eamonn and Ruth. Holly’s famously close with the Never Ever chart-toppers, and couldn’t hold back the giggles as she tried to seriously grill her pals on the This Morning sofa.
