Jermaine Pennant can no longer flirt with Chloe Ayling but he’s still stirring up trouble in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The former footballer, who has been universally slammed for his behaviour, is clearly trying to distract from his naughty antics. Dan Osborne reveals that Jermaine has annoyed Gabby Allen by seemingly telling her a massive secret. So much so that she has been “off” and “a bit funny with” Dan – but he has no idea why. Venting to his fellow housemates, Dan insists he hasn’t told Jermaine anything controversial, so he must be ‘lying’. Jermaine has been stirring up trouble
Revealing all in the bedroom, Dan says: “Gabby, I don’t know if you noticed, she was being a bit funny with me last night. She was a bit off with me and I had no idea why. “Basically Jermaine told her that I told him something but he insinuated something to her then basically told her I’ve told him something and I haven’t. I’ve not told him anything. “I’ve not said one word to him. I’ve got nothing bad to say about Gab or nothing to say at all that could upset her or wind her up. She’s my mate.” Dan claims Gabby has been ‘off’ with him
What has Gabby been told? Celebrity Big Brother 2018 contestants Dan explains that he had approached Gabby to find out what the issue was but she was not willing to talk about it in the house. He says: “She said she doesn’t want to tell me. I guess he doesn’t wan to tell me in here, I don’t know. I said I haven’t said anything to wind you up or jeopardise our friendship.” Psychic Sally Morgan asks if he had said something two nights ago when he was drunk. Dan replies: “She wouldn’t get the hump over something stupid. So he’s obviously said something I haven’t said.” Gabby reveals all to Roxanne.
Later, Gabby reveals all during a private conversation with Roxanne Pallett in the bedroom. Gabby doesn’t understand how the situation has been blown out of proportion. The Love Island star says: “I felt like J was like pointing so I can’t even remember what it was. And I think Dan was f***ing stood next to him. I feel I may have misinterpreted it.
“What annoys me about is I’m like we have banter all the time and that. How do I know what’s banter and what’s not” *Celebrity Big Brother airs tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm.
Meghan Markle has honed a signature look over the past few months and it usually consists of a modest midi dress or skirt . But she threw caution to the wind for a night out with husband Prince Harry for a special performance of hit musical Hamilton at London’s Victoria Palace theatre.
The Duchess of Sussex, 37, ditched the midi in favour of a mini and wowed in a thigh-skimming double-breasted tuxedo dress by Canadian fashion label Judith & Charles. The hem length may be daring for a royal, but Meghan’s look was young, fresh and sexy.
Showing off her incredibly toned legs, Meghan’s look was a dramatic departure from anything we’ve seen her in recently and it’s nice to see her changing things up a bit. The peak lapelled £327 ‘Digital’ tuxedo dress is currently available on the company’s website and is available in aubergine, black and navy. But as with most things Meghan wears, we can expect there to be a lot of interest and something tells us it won’t be around for long. Meghan opted for the sleek black version and teamed it with a pair of black pointed Paul Andrew ‘Pump-it-up’ heels and a small black clutch. The Duchess wore her hair back in a sleeker version of her signature messy bun, showing off gold Shaun Leane earrings. Meghan chatted with the show’s writer before the show.
It was the couple’s first public engagement for a month and they were guests of honour at the special charity performance. Meghan and Harry are getting to meet the cast and crew on the stage of London’s Victoria Palace Theatre and are set to address the audience alongside the show’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. But this isn’t the first time Meghan has seen the musical based on the life of American founding father Alexander Hamilton. It’s actually her third. Meghan and Harry were spotted seated amongst a sell out crowd back in February. And Meghan also saw the show in New York with her friend Priyanka Chopra. Before she deleted her Instagram account Meghan posted a picture of the glamorous pair standing outside the theatre posing with the playbill.
David Beckham celebrated 25 years of friendship with Sir Elton John by sharing a picture of the pair lounging on a boat. Beckham and his wife Victoria are on holiday with Sir Elton and his husband David Furnish.
In the past, Beckham and Elton have together shopped for Victoria:
On Tuesday, Beckham shared a picture with his 50 million Instagram followers, showing him relaxing topless on a boat next to Sir Elton, who wore a short-sleeve shirt emblazoned with fish patterns. Beckham, 43, captioned the image: “Uncle Elton…. We have known each other now for 25 years .. Fun times with each other.”
Earlier, Sir Elton, 71, shared a picture with his one million Instagram followers showing himself and both of the Beckhams relaxing on the boat. He captioned it: “Winding down my Summer holiday with these lovely people.”
The Beckhams and Sir Elton have been close for more than two decades and the Yellow Brick Road singer was due to perform at the couple’s wedding in 1999 before suffering a heart attack that prevented him from playing. He later sang at one of the Beckham children’s christenings.
Let’s be honest, Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber aren’t just going to have the wedding of the century, it’s probably going to be the best damn wedding EVER. And it looks like our suspicions are correct, as Justin has reportedly told Hailey that no expense is to be spared on the big day.
A sneaky source (who is appaz super close to Justin) told: “He’s made it clear to Hailey that money is no object and whatever she wants for the big day she can have.” PLAY the video to see Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s most adorable moments from 2011 to 2018… The dream. But apparently, that doesn’t mean they’re going to have a super flashy affair, with the source claiming: “Neither Justin nor Hailey want a flashy showbiz type wedding.”
They’re claiming they want the day to be all about their love for one another rather than a celeb-filled soirée. It’s also reported that Hailey’s pops, Stephen Baldwin offered to stick to tradition by paying for the big day, but the Biebs has made it clear that this one is on him. Sure, he’s willing to flash the Amex, but how involved is the Biebs in all of the planning? Well, the “bulk” of it is reportedly down to Hailey, but: “he’s definitely engaged in the process and giving her feedback on things when she wants it,” says the source. “Hailey is absolutely loving planning the wedding,” they said, before adding: “She’s dreamed about this moment since she was a little girl, and now all her dreams are coming true. The fact she gets to walk down the aisle with Justin is more than she ever could have hoped for.” Of course, this is all coming from an anonymous source, so it’s difficult to tell how much they really know about the pair and their wedding plans. But we do know that Hailey has been a fan of the Biebs since day dot (AKA, like 2011).
Now, we’re just going to leave you with this incredible throwback snap. Who’d have known that one day they would all be sitting at the top table together…
The woman who had sandwich thrown at her said ‘don’t make me take off my wig’ and ‘I will punch you into next week’.
The people who started fighting are believed to have been on their way home from the Notting Hill Carnival which was held at the weekend. The woman who accused the alleged sandwich thrower tells the man (known as ‘the d**khead in the dungarees’) and woman (known only as ‘pineapple girl’) ‘don’t make me take off my wig’ and ‘I will punch you into next week’. She then launches a violent attack that was filmed and uploaded onto Facebook.
Other passengers initially ignore what’s going on with some moving to other parts of the train before one of them eventually steps in to break up the fight.
A new scientific study has linked smoking cannabis with certain psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia. Researchers from Radboud University looked at data from more than 180,000 people as part of the study. They uncovered that people with schizophrenia are also more likely to use cannabis.
The large-scale genetic study, published in Nature Neuroscience , was conducted by a team of scientists part of the International Cannabis Consortium. Read More New study finds people with schizophrenia are also more likely to use cannabis (Image: Daniel Zgombic/Getty) It’s claimed to be the largest to date genetic study to look at the use of cannabis. It used data from the UK Biobank, association results from DNA testing kit 23andMe customers as well as data from individuals in 16 other smaller study cohorts. The study identified 35 different genes associated with cannabis use with the strongest associations in a gene called CADM2. “CADM2 has already been associated with risky behaviour, personality and alcohol use,” said professor Jacqueline Vink, the study’s lead author. For this study, Vink and the researchers were able to look across more than a million genetic variants that together helped to explain approximately 11 percent of the differences in cannabis use between people. Read More The study identified 35 different genes associated with cannabis use with the strongest associations in a gene called CADM2 (Image: Getty) One of the biggest correlations that stood out was the genetic overlap between cannabis use and the risk of schizophrenia. “That is not a big surprise, because previous studies have often shown that cannabis use and schizophrenia are associated with each other. However, we also studied whether this association is causal,” Vink explained. “Our study showed that people with a vulnerability to develop schizophrenia are at increased risk of using cannabis.”
The researchers used an analysis technique called “Mendelian randomisation” to show a causal relationship between schizophrenia and an increased risk of cannabis use. However, the researchers cannot exclude a reverse cause-and-effect relationship, meaning that cannabis use could contribute to the risk of schizophrenia. The study also found a genetic overlap between cannabis use and the use of tobacco and alcohol. There was a similar overlap between cannabis use and personality types that were prone to more risky behaviour or were more extraverted. “This means that genetic variants impacting cannabis use partially impact other psychological or psychiatric features as well,” the researchers said.
The real reason Kate Middleton never wears her hair up Kate Middleton is known for her iconic, blow-dried, wavy and tousled hairstyles Fans started to question why the Duchess of Cambridge never has her hair up Prince William also has a scar on his head, which he calls his ‘Harry Potter scar’
Kate Middleton is known for her iconic blow-dried, tousled hairstyle, and while Meghan Markle occasionally tries out new variations, the Duchess of Cambridge is never seen at a public engagement with her hair up. While Royal protocol has prevented Kate from letting her hair down in other ways, such as running a marathon or wearing wedges around The Queen, some Royal Family fans have noticed that her hair is never seen tied up in any way. However, the reason for this could be because of a three-inch scar the Duchess of Cambridge has on the side of her head as a result of a childhood operation, which was first spotted back in 2011, when it was mistaken for hair extensions. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is known for her iconic, blow-dried, tousled hairstyles Kate Middleton head scar.
After Kate Middleton’s head scar was spotted in 2011, Kensington Palace released a statement revealing that it was as a result of a ‘childhood operation’, but did not confirm what kind of procedure the Duchess had undergone. John Scurr, consultant surgeon at the Lister Hospital in London said that the scar was unlikely to be as a result of a tumour. ‘I really doubt it was any serious medical condition and I would say it is as a result of an arteriovenous malformation – a birthmark – being removed. ‘It is remarkable, given the measurement, that no-one has noticed before,’ he said when fans first saw the scar in a picture when Kate was conducting her first solo engagement as a member of the Royal Family at Clarence House, in aid of Kind Direct. Kate’s scar was first noticed in a picture of her first solo engagement in aid of Kind Direct The Duchess of Cambridge has a three-inch scar on the side of her head from an operation Prince William scar Prince William also has a scar on his head, which is in the shape of a zig-zag and resulted in the Duke referring to it as his ‘Harry Potter scar’. He is thought to have got it after being hit with a golf club when he was 13. The Duke of Cambridge revealed how he got this scar in an interview conducted by a 10-year-old girl named Alice, a cancer patient at the Royal Marsden Hospital at the time.
Prince William, sporting an old scar over his left eye, the result of an accident with a golf club ‘I call it [my Harry Potter scar] because it glows sometimes and some people notice it — other times they don’t notice it at all. I got hit by a golf club when I was playing golf with a friend of mine. ‘We were on a putting green and the next thing you know there was a seven-iron and it came out of nowhere and it hit me in the head. So, yeah, I was in the hospital for that, but that was very minor compared to how many times you’ve been in the hospital.’ Advertisement Share or comment on this article:
The singer-songwriter Neil Young and actor Daryl Hannah are said to have married during a small ceremony in California at the weekend. The couple reportedly wed on Saturday in Atascadero, after a ceremony on Young’s yacht near the San Juan islands. The guitarist Mark Miller appeared to confirm the news on Facebook when he congratulated the couple. He later clarified that he had not attended the ceremony. “I only knew about it because one of my friends attended the ceremony in Atascadero and announced it on his page,” Miller said.
The administrator of Young’s blog also congratulated the pair, and referred to comments from attendees, who described the event as “a shindig”. Hannah posted a cryptic image to her Instagram account the following day. She captioned the picture of an owl: “Someone’s watching over us … love and only love.” Young and Hannah had reportedly been dating since 2014, when Young filed for divorce from Pegi Young, his wife of 36 years. On the media scrutiny surrounding his relationship with Hannah, Young said: “We didn’t pay any attention to that. It doesn’t matter. We don’t give a shit. We don’t care, because they don’t know what they’re talking about. And if they do know what they’re talking about, we still don’t care, but we’re happy for them. It doesn’t matter. What matters is us, not the press.”
This year, Young appeared in the Netflix film Paradox, a fantasy western musical directed by Hannah. At 72, it marks another chapter in Young’s life and work, as he continues to press on with new music. He has released six albums in the last four years, including two with a new backing band, Promise of the Real, who feature Willie Nelson’s son Lukas among their number. Long irritated by what he perceives as low quality digital music from Apple, Spotify and others, he has also recently created an ambitious online archive of his work in high-resolution audio. In December 2017, he sold off 418 lots of his possessions at auction, raising over $300,000 from his model train collection alone.
Hannah continues to act – her most high profile recent role was Angelica Turing in the sci-fi Netflix series Sense8, a show whose cult popularity was so strong that fans successfully lobbied for a final “goodbye” episode after it was cancelled, which aired in June this year. But she is also a high-profile activist, having long campaigned against the Keystone oil pipeline system in Canada and the US. She has been arrested numerous times for her protests – including twice in front of the White House – and she and Young led a Washington-based march together in 2014.
TV star Stacey Solomon has slammed a weekly magazine for suggesting she may be ‘boring, desperate’ and ‘cheap’. The Loose Women presenter, 28, took to Twitter on Tuesday night where she blasted Now’s editorial staff for their latest issue. The newly-printed edition, dated 3 September, features two images of the young mum with the sub-headline ‘Why fans are SICK of her’.
Inside, it questions her behaviour, authenticity and whether she’s a ‘desperate… show-off’. In an emotionally-charged message, Stacey wrote on Twitter: “That’s the meanest thing I’ve ever seen.” She then wrote a follow-up message, asking the publication to justify its content. “Why the silence? You created an entire cover based on the opinions of maybe 3 people & now there are almost a thousand people holding Now accountable. “Why [do] u feel [the] need to constantly tear people down in a bullying manor [sic].” Her tweet racked-up more than 1,900 likes and 175 re-tweets from fellow celebrities, who shared her annoyance. The article questions whether she’s ‘cheap’ and ‘desperate’
Gaby Roslin replied: “Not one word of what those mean people wrote is true. I love you dearly and NEVER EVER let them get you down. “You’re a kind, honest, beautiful girl. A wonderful mummy and joy to be around.” Reality TV hunk Ollie Locke said: “You are always a massive shining light in a room! And everyone bloody adores you! Completely ignore.” Meanwhile, Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown replied:”What???”. A number of fans also rushed to Stacey’s defence. One replied: “Totally and utterly shameful,” while another quipped: “Disgusting.” Responding, Stacey then said: “I have no idea what’s wrong with some people? Why not just say nothing if that’s all they can conjure up? No wonder people are insecure.”
Holly Willoughby has been confirmed as Ant McPartlin’s replacement on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and will join Declan Donnelly to host the ITV show as one half of the iconic duo takes a break from television. Dec is thought to have suggested that Holly would be the perfect host after Ant pulled out of all television commitments, in addition to the 2019 series of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway already being axed, as reported by Daily Mirror. ‘Holly is 100 per cent confirmed to be going into the Jungle this year as Ant’s stand in,’ the source revealed and continued to say: ‘It’s been in the works for weeks as ITV were really keen on getting her in. They’ve taken their time announcing it as they wanted to be sure Holly could fit it in with her family and other work commitments.’ After this announcement, other sources told The Sun that discussions about her new role are at an ‘advanced stage’ and was given Ant’s blessing to join the next series of I’m A Celebrity.
But who is Holly Willoughby? Known as the golden girl of television, it seems as if Holly Willoughby has either presented or appeared on most shows that are on television right now and was even occasionally on our screens nearly every day of the week with her on-screen husband Phillip Schofield, hosting This Morning and Dancing on Ice. Born Holly Marie Willoughby in Brighton on February 10, 1981 to an air stewardess and double glazing company owner, she was first spotted by a model scout at The Clothes Show Live in 1995 at the age of 14, as reported by Closer Online. She was signed by Storm Model Management and modelled for magazines More!, Mizz and Just Seventeen and years later, modelled underwear for brands such as Pretty Polly.
It was also revealed at the end of last year that Holly and Dan made a staggering £1 million from their company Roxy Media; Holly owns 80 per cent of the shares and earned £760,000 and Dan, with 20 per cent, £190,000.
