Russell Grant has worrying warning from the stars for Holly Willoughby ahead of I’m A Celebrity

Russell Grant has worrying warning from the stars for Holly Willoughby ahead of I’m A Celebrity

Russell Grant has given Holly Willoughby a worrying warning about her new presenting role on I’m A Celebrity.

The astrologer fears that something bad may happen in the Australian jungle because of the alignment of the planets.

During his segment on today’s This Morning, Russell said: “A strong energy leads to a career change.”

This struck a chord with Holly, who is an Aquarius, as she is set to head off to replace Ant McPartlin later this year.

But there could be a few shocks in store if Russell is looking at the stars correctly.

He said: “Well you’re off into the jungle darling aren’t you. Probably about the same time these planets are all happening, so that will be interesting for you.

Wanting to know what he meant by the bizarre remark, shocked Holly replied: “In a good way?”

There wasn’t much confidence coming from Russell as he tried to reassure the presenter.

Russell said: “I certainly think it will be an eye opener for all of you. No i think you’ll be fine as its an Aquarius thing.

“For Aquariuns everywhere it’s all about career change and doing things that you once thought I’m never going to do that but are now doing it.”

Russell really seemed to be on the mark today as Phil’s reading also proved thought provoking.

As an Aries, Phil was told that he would be getting rid of any excess baggage that had been plaguing his life.

“It works for both of us,” joked Phil. “You’re going and I’m getting rid of the baggage.”

Kerry Katona admits she binged on cocaine and hoped she ‘wouldn’t wake up’ as she battled suicidal thoughts during …

Kerry Katona has revealed she felt suicidal during her marriage to second husband Mark Croft as the battled a cocaine addiction.   The 37-year-old said that when she found out her husband at the time, who she was married to from 2007-2011, was cheating on her and a clip emerged of her snorting drugs she felt like she wanted to die. She admitted to The Sun that everything going on around her made her feel alone and worthless, and was made worse by the fact that people were questioning her abilities as a mother.

Low point: Kerry Katona revealed that during her lowest points she would ‘froth at the mouth’ while binging on cocaine in a bid to end her own life The TV personality confessed that at her lowest points, after suffering fits and blacking out, she hoped that she would never wake up again. She said: ‘I took so much coke with Mark and I had hoped he’d try to stop me, and go, “I love you too much to see you do this”, but he never did,’ the star admitted.  The reality of the situation was very different, as Kerry said that she felt suicidal while she was married to Mark.

Struggles: The 37-year-old said that when she found out her husband at the time Mark Croft was cheating on her and a clip emerged of her snorting drugs she felt like she wanted to die, she told the Sun ‘I would take so much that I’d have a fit and start frothing at the mouth and I really hoped I wouldn’t wake up. But I always did. I had a guardian angel, thank God!’  Opening up on World Suicide Prevention Day, the mum-of-five, said: ‘I felt really suicidal…I was snorting cocaine like it was going out of fashion. I felt so isolated. I didn’t want to be here anymore. I almost gave in.’ Prior to Kerry’s attempt at taking her own life, at age three she watched her mum slit her wrists in front of her. Even when Kerry’s mum Sue was pregnant with her, she tried to slit her throat, and made several other attempts on her life until Kerry was 17. Kerry said of the attempts, that she had her daughters names tattooed on her wrists to stop her following the same path. She is speaking out in support of the You’re Not Alone campaign, the newspaper’s campaign in support of World Suicide Prevention Day. Feeling ‘worthless’: She admitted that everything going on around her made her feel alone and worthless, made worse by the fact that people were questioning her abilities as a mother During Kerry’s troubled life has been put into care, after her mum’s boyfriend stabbed her and told the kids he wanted to chop them up. She recalled even having to pull a knife out of her leg, before being sent into care because her mum chose him over them.  Her partner later died after being run over, and after his death Sue wanted to kill herself, and Kerry admitted that she tried to help. She remembers telling her mum to take them all because she’d had enough of not feeling good enough for her.

Support: She said her kids, Molly, 15, Lily-Sue, 14, Heidi, ten, Max, nine and Dylan-Jorge, three, are more aware of mental health issues than many kids, and are aware their mum suffers tough mood dips Her turning point came when she took part in a boot camp, during her marriage to Mark, where she ran, ate healthily and came off her bipolar medication and has never touched cocaine since.   She said her kids, Molly, 15, Lily-Sue, 14, Heidi, ten, Max, nine and Dylan-Jorge, three, are more aware of mental health issues than many kids, and are aware their mum suffers tough mood dips.   Kerry is urging anyone feeling low or suicidal to see her as an example.

For confidential support call the Samaritans on 116123 or visit a local Samaritans branch, see www.samaritans.org for details. Avoiding the same path: Kerry said of the attempts, that she had her daughters names tattooed on her wrists to stop her following the same path

Ryan Thomas mystifies the nation by shaving his toes in preparation for the Celebrity Big Brother final

The Celebrity Big Brother house has been anything but a quiet place for most of its final series. But during a quieter moment in the house this year’s fan-favourite contestant, Ryan Thomas managed to find a moment to indulge in some ‘me time’ on last night’s episode. Sitting down in the bathroom he indulged in a little bit of grooming and shaved his toes. Yes, he shaved his toes – and no one really knew what to think. Ryan Thomas CBB has been shaving his toes, and the nation is divided (Picture: Channel 5)Ryan, having managed to win the nation’s heart with his genuine manner while dealing with ‘punch gate’, was seen enjoying a moment away from the rest of his housemates. And rather than focus on the rest of the celebs having a rather serious conversation, the cameras chose to show Ryan showing his toes some love.

Obviously, people at home couldn’t help but clock the toe shaving, and it prompted a number of reactions.

Others weren’t too amused by the sight of the former Corrie star paying particular attention to his feet. In fact, there were some very strong feelings against the whole scene…

Needless to say the nation was er… divided over Ryan’s toes. However, he still remains one of the favourites to win the show alongside Kirstie Alley and Dan Oscborne.

Prince Philip branded Prince Charles’ behaviour with Camilla ‘SILLY’ in a letter to Diana

Prince Philip branded Prince Charles’s behaviour with Camilla ‘SILLY’ in a letter to Diana

The Duke of Edinburgh actively attempted to save Diana and Charles’ marriage in the early 1990s, private letters revealed. In an unprecedented show of support, Prince Philip wrote to Princess Diana on July 7 1992: “I can only repeat what I’ve said before, if invited, I will always do my utmost to help you and Charles to the best of my ability. “But I am quite ready to concede that I have no talent as a marriage counsellor.” Prince Philip went as far as putting part of the blame for the troubled marriage on his son, speaking candidly of Charles’s affair with Camilla.  But he let the Princess of Wales know that both the Queen and he were aware Diana was also having an affair and were not pleased. He wrote: “We do not approve of either of you having lovers. “Charles was silly to risk everything with Camilla for a man in his position. “We never dreamed he might feel like leaving you for her.”  According to royal experts, Prince Philip’s decision to take sides with Diana while openly shaming the then-married Camilla was groundbreaking. Appearing on Channel 4’s The Royal House of Windsor, royal commentator Sarah Gristwood said: “Never mind how Camilla might feel about that, he was being supportive towards Diana, and no one knew better than Prince Philip just how hard it was for an outsider to come into the Royal Family.”

The Duke of Edinburgh entered the House of Windsor as an outsider, being part of the Greek and Danish Royal Family. And just like Diana, he has been regarded by some commentators as an innovator, who actively worked to modernise the royals. The prince’s support made an impact on Diana, according to her private secretary at the time.  Patrick Jephson said: “Here at last was written proof that this was acknowledged, recognised, and there was sympathy for her.” But despite showing sympathy to Diana, the prince didn’t refrain from putting some of the blame also on her. He wrote: “Can you honestly look into your heart and say that Charles’s relationship with Camilla had nothing to do with your behaviour towards him in your marriage?”. The written correspondence took place in 1992, described by the Queen in a speech marking the 40th anniversary of her accession “annus horribilis”, Latin for a horrible year.  During 1992, a string of scandals swept over the Royals. Ms Gristwood said: “It was a blow after blow after blow.”

Among the events that put the family on the front page of newspapers, the Crown had to deal with the separation of Prince Andrews and Sarah Ferguson, known as Fergie, and the “toe-sucking” scandal that followed. In April, Princess Anne announced her divorce from Captain Mark Phillips, and less than a month later the first tell-all book focusing on Princess Diana took Britain by storm. In the book, Andrew Morton revealed for the first time how unhappy was the marriage between Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

Missing dress owned by Queen Alexandra found in attic

Fashion Museum Bath Image caption Queen Alexandra’s silk and velvet evening gown has been hidden away in a box in an attic for more than 60 years A missing black dress worn by Queen Alexandra has been discovered in an attic and given to a museum in Bath. The silk and velvet gown belonging to the Danish-born wife of King Edward VII, had been hidden away in a private collection for more than 60 years, Its existence was discovered after owner Francesca Counsell Risius got in touch with the city’s Fashion Museum. It is understood it was bought as a royal curiosity for her great aunt’s shop in Tunbridge Wells in the 1950s. Embellished with beads and sequins, the evening dress was designed for the fashion-conscious queen by London dressmaker Barolet. Dating from the early 1900s, it also boasts her signature black and gold name tag sewn into the waist tape. Queen Alexandra Alexandra of Denmark was born Princess Alexandra Caroline Mary Charlotte Louisa Julia in 1844. She and Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, were married in 1863 and had six children including the future King George V. In January 1901, her mother-in-law Queen Victoria died and Edward succeeded to the throne as Edward VII and she as Queen Consort. As well as being a 19th Century fashion icon she was also the first president of The British Red Cross. Ms Counsell Risius said it was her great aunt’s prized possession. “She gave me the dress in the late 1960s and I’ve kept it in a box ever since,” she said. “I’ve carefully tried it on a couple of times, so has my daughter and occasionally we’ve taken it out of its tissue paper to show interested friends and family.”

In the 1960s, the queen’s dramatic tartan silk dress was discovered in a vintage shop in London Dress historian Dr Kate Strasdin, who verified its authenticity, said she was “delighted” by the discovery. “This dress is a fabulous find, not just because of its beauty, but because of what the dress reveals about Alexandra’s fashion choices,” she said. “Placing orders with smaller, less well-known dressmakers such as Barolet shows a measure of Alexandra’s determination to dress apart from her peers.” After her death in 1925, much of Queen Alexandra’s wardrobe was sold and many pieces are still missing. In the 1960s her tartan silk dress was discovered in a vintage shop in London. Both dresses are now on display until next April at the Fashion Museum Bath.

BBC says Manmade climate change is ‘indisputable’

BBC says Manmade climate change is ‘indisputable’

The BBC says manmade climate change is so indisputable that it does not need to invite ‘deniers’ on to its shows for balance.

Ms Fran Unsworth, who is the corporation’s head of news and current affairs, told journalists the issue should be treated in the same way they would report the score in a football match. In a note to staff, she said: ‘Manmade climate change exists: if the science proves it we should report it. ‘To achieve impartiality, you do not need to include outright deniers of climate change in BBC coverage, in the same way you would not have someone denying that Manchester United won 2-0 last Saturday. The referee has spoken.’

Miss Unsworth’s email also directed staff to training materials stating that the broadcaster had too often failed to strike the right balance on climate change. ‘Climate change has been a difficult subject for the BBC, and we get coverage of it wrong too often. The climate science community is clear that humans have changed the climate, but specifically how is more difficult to evidence,’ the materials said, according to the Carbon Brief newsletter. The issue was highlighted last year by a Today programme interview with Lord Lawson, a former Tory chancellor and climate change sceptic. He claimed on the Radio 4 programme that there was no confirmation that extreme weather events were on the rise. He also said – inaccurately – that global temperatures had ‘slightly declined’. Fran Unsworth, who is the corporation’s head of news and current affairs, told journalists the issue should be treated in the same way they would report the score in a football match The Today programme criticised Lord Lawson’s views on air the following day and senior BBC bosses later decided to go further and issue a formal apology. The public display of hand-wringing sparked criticism from climate change sceptics and free speech advocates, who said green campaigners were ‘the book-burners of our age’.

Lord Lawson scored a victory over the BBC in January, when it was forced to admit that it had distorted the facts in a television programme. The BBC2 travelogue, Russia with Simon Reeve, claimed that reindeer populations across the north of the country were ‘in steep decline because of climate change’. However, Lord Lawson pointed out that 17 out of 19 types of Eurasian reindeer were either stable or increasing in numbers. The BBC’s claim is ‘a distortion of known facts and constitutes a serious factual error’, he wrote. ‘Given that climate change is such a controversial subject, extra care should be taken.’ This time the corporation stopped short of issuing an apology – but it did admit it should have been clearer. ‘This programme suggested that many reindeer populations are in steep decline because of climate change,’ the BBC said. ‘It would have been more accurate to say that many reindeer populations are threatened by it.’

Justin Bieber And Hailey Baldwin Are Reportedly Moving To Canada For This Reason

Justin Bieber And Hailey Baldwin Are Reportedly Moving To Canada For This Reason

It looks like Justin Bieber is officially done with the United States after it’s been reported that he and Hailey Baldwin are moving to Canada in an effort to live out their lives in relative peace. The singer has clearly had his ups and downs in Los Angeles over the years and is keen to start afresh in the location where he feels most at home: “He wants to make his full-time home in Canada,” a source told Us Weekly. “He needs to get out of the L.A., NYC scene.”

A significant reason behind the move is the fact that the paparazzi just won’t leave him and his fiancée alone, with an insider explaining that he finds the attention “overwhelming” and doesn’t want to put up with it for longer than necessary.  The pair are said to have purchased a $5 million mansion in Ontario and it sounds just as extravagant as we’d imagined. Along with a temperature controlled wine room, the property also boasts an equestrian facility and even a private lake. Casual. Getty This comes amid reports that the couple are planning to get hitched “really soon.” They’ve apparently hit a minor glitch with a wedding venue being unavailable on their chosen date but have since managed to find something more suitable. As for why it might take them a little longer than first anticipated to get everything in order, a separate insider said: “They want to make sure their day is perfect and exactly what they want.” Well, money talks.
