Well, the mum-of-four is about to lift the lid on what goes on behind the scenes as she creates her latest designs. Victoria has already spoken about how she juggles her work and family commitments, saying: “Most evenings, I’m curled up in front of Skype, in my dressing gown, speaking with my studio in London.”
And now, the 39-year-old has revealed she is collaborating with Skype to make a new documentary concentrating on her design process. It’s not clear whether her family will feature in the show, but given that David Beckham and Harper often support her on the front row of her shows, it’s likely members of the Beckham clan will be popping up during the documentary.
It’s not the first time Victoria has made a reality show. But her last attempt at making a documentary, the 2007 show Victoria Beckham: Coming to America was widely panned.
It was always intended to be a spoof show, with Victoria shown making such comments as “It’s exhausting being fabulous” and “It’s got to be all about me”. But some critics took it at face value. The New York Post didn’t quite get Posh Spice’s English wit, saying the show was “an orgy of self-indulgence.”
She has also appeared in Being Victoria Beckham, which aired in 2002, and The Real Beckhams which was shown a year later. They focused on Posh Spice’s private life rather than her career. This will be another chance for Victoria to cement her status as a respected fashion designer.
